Dear myhive Community,
snow, low temperatures, hot tea or Gluehwein and lots of fun – all this is the promise of our myhive sledge event in March on Semmering mountain at the Zauberberg sledge run. We invite you to be part of this unique experience!
Please find below the details for all enthusiastic sledge fans (and for those who want to make their first try).
Event details
Date: Thursday, March 1st, 2018
Meeting point: 4.15 p.m. at Suedfoyer
Departure: 4.30 p.m. (arrival at Semmering app. 5.45 p.m.)
Departure back to Vienna: 10 p.m. (arrival at myhive Twin Towers app. 11.30 p.m., arrival at opera app. 11.45 p.m)
All transfers use a private bus that departs directly at the myhive Twin Towers and goes back there again. All those who want to arrive downtown Vienna can stay on the bus and exit at the opera. For your personal refreshment, a snack is provided to all participants during the bus ride.
As sledging and skiing can be exhaustive, we have booked a table available from 8 p.m. at the “Zauberbar”, inviting for a joint après-ski (or après-sledge).
Event fees
Bus ride and ski lift tickets are provided for free. A deposit of 2 Euro for the ski lift tickets is advanced, please pay this amount to me, Julia Jacobs, on the bus ride back to Vienna.
All consumptions at the local Skihütte, Rodlerhütte and at the Zauberbar are to be paid individually.
Rental sledges and ski
Sledges can be rented at the ski lift cashier, located directly at the valley station of the cable car at 6.50 Euro per sledge and day. This is to be paid individually, please bring a photo ID with you.
Cost for rental skis is to be paid individually as well; you will find it in the same spot as the rental sledge provider.
Please note that only 45 spots are available. They will be allocated on a first-come-first-serve basis. Please register via myhive-offices App until February 26th, 2018.
