In early May, the Vienna Fire Department conducted an impressive high-rope rescue drill on the myhive Twin Towers.
The emergency responders practiced rescuing a person from one of the middle platforms using a rope and a mini-cable car system. Additionally, they performed a controlled descent along the building facade to acclimate to the height and further refine their specialized skills in high-altitude rescue.
The exercise impressively demonstrated the team’s high level of technical skill, precision, and teamwork. Skills that are crucial in an emergency.
