Wienerberg has a long history: from brick mining and industry to the first municipal housing projects and Wienerberg City. Today, the area with its high-rise buildings is a striking feature of the skyline and offers great potential for the future.

A diverse urban quarter is to be developed on around 35 hectares – with space for work, living, education, health, and leisure. There is a particular focus on high-quality public space. Currently, around 17 hectares of the area are underutilized. These areas offer opportunities for high-quality further development – with benefits for everyone who lives and works (or will live and work) here.
