Sustainable fashion in myhive - join the "Clothes to donate" initiative

Together with the myhive community, we explored the topic of the clothing industry and the circular economy.

Did you know that we globally produce over 100 billion pieces of clothing every year, and 30% of them will never be sold? These facts were presented to us at the Expert Talk led by Anna Pięta - a specialist in the field of sustainable development in fashion, social activist and co-author of the Muda Talks podcast. The circular economy webinar was a continuation of our #myhiveourfuture series, which aims to raise our community’s awareness about the climate crisis and ecology. It was also an ideal introduction to our annual ‘Clothes to Donate’ initiative, which has just kicked off at myhive.

It is a charity event consisting of collecting unnecessary clothing and putting them back into closed circuit. The money collected from selling the clothes will be transferred to the account of the EKOMINI foundation, which conducts ecological workshops for children from poorer environments. Our action is already happening in all Warsaw myhive buildings, and the clothes containers are waiting for you in the lobbies. You can also support the campaign online, and have your clothes picked up by a free courier! Everything in the link below!

Remember every gram counts!
