Theme of the week: Nervous system health

Dear myhive community,

The expert of our community, doctor Ana-Maria Stoica, introduced us last week to the nervous system and explained, for everyone's understanding, what are the most important factors for it to function at full capacity. Extensive information can be found in the myhive-offices application and below we have prepared a short summary.

🌞 Everything is connected in our organism, but there is a strong connection between the normality of gut flora and brain development.  Also there are neurons both in the brain and in the gut, including neurons that produce neurotransmitters such as serotonin, which influence the mood.

🤸🏼Physical exercise improves blood flow in the brain and helps the brain activity to be faster and more efficient.

🐟 Our organism cannot produce Omega 3 - fatty acids, this is why is important to include them in our daily diet  through fatty fish, seafood or algae.

💤 Sleep helps the brain to reset, offering new mental perspectives and the capability to find creative solutions to various problems, which is crucial for creativity.

💊 Mental fog and memory problems are two of the main warning signs of vitamin B12 deficiency, which is an indication of its importance for brain health.

🎶 Listening to music and mental exercises can increase intelligence and learning.
