From August 5th: Great cinema feeling returns at the Cineplexx!

Cineplexx opens the remaining 24 locations throughout Austria on August 5th, including the one at myhive at the Wienerberg. After the long corona-related break, Austria's largest cinema operator has no fewer than eleven film releases and a versatile programme mix in the pipeline.

The long-awaited new start will be celebrated with a great special for cinema fans: At the CINEPLEXX DAY on August 5th, cinema tickets cost only 3 Euros for each film, and in each cinema popcorn (medium) and a soft drink of Coca-Cola (0,5l) is granted by Cineplexx for free on top.

Right on August 5th Cineplexx has numerous premieres and film starts in its program. On this day, special previews will be shown before the official cinema release, including "Unhinged", "Into the Beat", "Meine Freundin Conni" and "Berlin Alexanderplatz". The sale of special tickets starts on Friday, July 31st at 11 a.m. on cineplexx.at and via the Cineplexx App.

Cineplexx has a lot in store for its visitors in August - the weekly cinema days "Drei Kino Donnerstag" and "Kino-Montag" start again, and also from the popular Miss, Ladies or Men's Night to a "Special Preview" everything is included. The Ladies Night with "The Secret" and the Men's Night with "Unhinged" on August 6th will be the first two events:

  • August 6th – Ladies Night "The Secret"
  • August 6th – Men's Night "Unhinged"
  • August 6th – Miss Night "Into the Beat"
  • August 6th – special preview of "Guns Akimbo"
  • August 13th – Miss Night "I Still Believe"

Safety and health of visitors and employees are of course top priority: tickets should preferably be bought virtually on cineplexx.at or via the Cineplexx app. The seating plan has now been adjusted so that after each booking the seat next to you is automatically left vacant. This ensures the minimum distance, while couples, families and groups can sit together up to six people. In the foyer you are requested to maintain the minimum distance and to observe the obligation to wear masks until you reach your seat.
