Katrin Gögele-Celeda is Country Manager Austria & Adriatic at IMMOFINANZ. A native of Vienna, she studied business administration and has many years of expertise in commercial real estate. She began her career in the real estate industry in the management of commercial properties and their sales marketing. There she gained an exceptional understanding of the core areas of the business. In addition to her real estate experience, she worked for several years in investment banking, where she was able to build a remarkable network in the financial sector.
Katrin Gögele-Celeda has already been working for IMMOFINANZ for almost 6 years, since August 2020 she has been responsible for operations in Austria with a focus on leasing strategies, asset, and property management and since September 2022 for the Austria & Adriatic region. A particular focus is on the office brand myhive, an innovative and flexible office concept that has already been successfully implemented at many locations.
Today we present another new addition to the myhive family: the Urban Garden at Wienerberg - which perfectly combines modernity and sustainability - will open its doors in August 2023. In the following interview, Katrin Gögele-Celeda tells us more about myhive Urban Garden in Vienna and about her personal connection to the office building.
The 8-story office building with a total area of almost 18,000m2 is located on the Wienerberg in the midst of a thriving leisure and gastronomy scene. Here, work-life balance is lived and we would like to take this to a new level with the myhive Urban Garden: In addition to the work and life factors, however, we would also like to focus on the sustainability aspect here, because this is also an aspect that is very close to our hearts and those of many other companies.
We see balance as the core idea of our time. Work needs free time; success needs recreation, and an economic ambition nowadays must necessarily be connected with a sense of responsibility towards our environment and its resources. The myhive Urban Garden will bring this balance into harmony through a range of factors. For example, we start small with green facades, use 100% green electricity, and use sustainable products. With so-called green lease agreements (Green Lease), we also codify the efforts towards sustainable behavior between us and our tenants.
The employees who will be lucky enough to work in our myhive Urban Garden can - among many other advantages that our myhive Offices offer - additionally enjoy numerous balconies and a large, green terrace. These are designed to invite extensive breaks and moments of relaxation - but also productive work and constructive meetings.
The BREEAM Outstanding certificate is a really great recognition. This seal of approval optimally reflects our wishes and goals for the myhive Urban Garden, because it is only awarded to sustainable buildings that improve the well-being of the people who live and work in them and help to conserve natural resources. In addition, the evaluation is conducted completely independently by third parties, which gives the certificate a prominent level of importance worldwide.
Of course, our newest project offers the same amenities that myhive offices classically provide: Flexible office space adapts to the individual needs of each company. A generous infrastructure with stores for daily needs, numerous restaurants, and cafés right outside the office door, and additional services such as massages, cobblers, tailors, and dry cleaning make everyday life easier for employees. And for employee networking, sports events, community breakfasts and networking events are held. Last but not least, Wienerberg has optimal transportation links. With car, bike and scooter sharing programs as well as our own city shuttle, we create additional flexibility here.
